Aeriva: A Mini Autonomous Quadrotor Platform

Aeriva - This name is a combination of “aero” (meaning air) and “diva” (suggesting a stylish and confident personality).

In March 2023, I began to design, assemble, and test this drone from scratch. So far, four drones of this type have been made and used in various scientific research and competitions in my lab.

Features

  1. Agile and safe: Aeriva is built upon a 3.5-inch cinewhoop frame with Kakute H7 mini flight controller, making it exceptionally agile, compact and safe.

  2. High computing performance: Aeriva is equipped with NVIDIA Jetson Orin NX, facilitating it with strong onboard computing capabilities.
